These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of https://chippedmod.com (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.

About the Site

chippedmod.com is an independent information resource about the Chipped mod for Minecraft Java Edition. We publish guides, comparisons, troubleshooting help and links to official download sources. We are not the developer of Chipped and are not affiliated with the Terrarium team, Mojang Studios or Microsoft.

Eligibility

You may use the Site if you can form a binding agreement under the laws of your country, or if you are using it with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian. Parents are responsible for supervising younger users' use of the Site and of any mods they install.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the text, design, layout, graphics, images and code of the Site are owned by Chipped Mod and are protected by copyright and other laws. The Chipped mod, its name and its textures belong to their respective creators. Minecraft and related names are trademarks of Mojang Studios.

Permitted use

You may view, read and share links to our pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may quote short excerpts with a clear credit and a link to the original page. You may not:

• Scrape or harvest content or data automatically in a way that burdens the Site.

Downloads and third-party sites

Download buttons send you to third-party platforms such as GitHub, Modrinth and CurseForge. Files are hosted, scanned and distributed by those platforms and remain subject to their terms and the mod's own licence (All Rights Reserved). We do not host, modify or repackage mod files, and we are not responsible for the availability, content or safety of third-party websites.

User submissions

When you send us a message, correction or suggestion, you confirm that it does not infringe anyone's rights and does not contain unlawful content. You grant us permission to use feedback to improve the Site without payment or obligation to you.

No warranty

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". Mods, loaders and Minecraft versions change often, and while we test our guides, we do not guarantee that information is complete, current or error-free. Always back up your worlds before installing, updating or removing any mod.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Chipped Mod and its contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including lost worlds, corrupted saves, game crashes, data loss or problems caused by third-party downloads.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled by the courts located in Oregon, unless local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
